Wedding & Pre-Wedding Photography Terms and Conditions

Thank you for choosing Namita Studio for your photography and videography requirements. To ensure a smooth workflow and a successful experience for both parties, please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully.

Wedding Photography & Videography

1. Booking and Payment

• To confirm a booking, a minimum advance payment of 20% of the total package amount is required.

• After completion of the event, the client must pay at least 75% of the total billing amount on the same day.

• The remaining balance must be cleared before the final delivery of any photographs, videos, albums, or other materials.

• Namita Studio reserves the right to withhold delivery of completed work until full payment has been received.

• Clients are requested to collect a payment receipt for all payments made.

2. Album Design and Delivery

• Album design will be prepared and shared with the client for review.

• Albums will be sent for printing only after receiving final approval from the client.

• Printed albums will be delivered only after all outstanding payments have been cleared.

• If the final album exceeds the number of pages included in the selected package, additional charges of ₹500 per extra page will apply.

3. Cancellation and Rescheduling

• In the event that the wedding is cancelled for any reason, the booking amount shall be non-refundable and will be retained as compensation for reserving the date and declining other potential bookings.

• If a wedding date needs to be changed, Namita Studio must be informed at least 20 days prior to the scheduled event date.

• Date changes are subject to the availability of the photography team.

4. Event Information

• The client shall provide the final event schedule, venue details, and shooting locations at least one day prior to the wedding.

• Any changes to timings, venues, or event arrangements should be communicated as early as possible.

5. Food, Accommodation, and Logistics

• For full-day, multi-day, or outstation assignments, the client shall provide suitable food and, where necessary, lodging arrangements for the photography and videography team.

• Transportation arrangements may also be required depending on the location and scope of the assignment.

6. Delivery Timeline

• Large projects such as weddings, documentaries, cinematic films, and similar productions generally require 3 to 6 months for complete processing, editing, and delivery.

• Delivery timelines may vary depending on project complexity, seasonal workload, and production requirements.

• Namita Studio will make every reasonable effort to complete projects within the estimated timeframe.

7. Raw Footage

• Raw footage can be provided upon request only after full payment has been cleared.

• Clients must provide a suitable hard drive or storage device if required due to file size limitations.

• Raw footage is supplied without editing, color correction, sound enhancement, or post-production work.

8. Photography Coverage

• Our team will use its professional judgment and experience to capture all important moments and create the best possible coverage of the event.

• Photography and videography coverage will be planned according to the event schedule, lighting conditions, venue limitations, and creative requirements.

• Bridal preparation coverage generally begins after the bride has completed dressing and makeup, unless otherwise agreed in advance.

9. Pricing

• Package prices may vary depending on event size, location, duration, creative requirements, equipment needs, and production quality requested by the client.

Pre-Wedding Shoot Terms

1. Scheduling

• The date of a Pre-Wedding Shoot may be changed by the client; however, Namita Studio must be informed at least 10 days before the scheduled shoot date.

• Any change of date will be subject to availability.

2. Completion Timeline

• The Pre-Wedding Shoot must be completed at least 15 days prior to the Wedding Date to ensure sufficient time for editing and delivery.

3. Client Responsibilities

• The client shall provide the final shoot date, timing, and location details well in advance.

• The client is responsible for obtaining any location permissions or entry permits required for the shoot.

4. Food, Accommodation, and Transportation

• The client shall provide suitable food, transportation, and, where necessary, accommodation arrangements for the photography team during the shoot.

Copyright and Usage Rights

• All photographs, videos, edited content, and creative works produced by Namita Studio remain the intellectual property of the photographer and are protected under applicable copyright laws.

• Clients are granted permission to use the delivered photographs and videos for personal and non-commercial purposes only.

• The client may share photographs and videos with family and friends and post them on personal social media accounts.

• Selling, publishing, licensing, reproducing for commercial purposes, or using the photographs or videos for advertising, promotional activities, competitions, or business purposes is strictly prohibited without prior written permission from Namita Studio.

Client Cooperation

• The client shall be responsible for identifying important individuals, family members, guests, groups, ceremonies, or moments they wish to have photographed.

• The client may designate a family member, friend, or coordinator to assist in organizing people for photographs.

• Namita Studio shall not be held responsible for missed photographs where reasonable assistance or identification has not been provided.

Limitation of Liability

• Namita Studio will take all reasonable precautions to ensure successful coverage of the event.

• However, we shall not be liable for delays, interruptions, missed coverage, or incomplete work resulting from circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to weather conditions, venue restrictions, accidents, illness, equipment failure, natural disasters, transportation issues, or other unforeseen events.

Amendments

• Namita Studio reserves the right to modify, update, or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.

• The latest version of these Terms and Conditions shall apply to all future bookings.

Acceptance

By confirming a booking and making an advance payment, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
